Where is Flightsim Aviation Tech & Training located?

The simulator centre is located in Noosaville approximately twenty minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport and fifteen minutes from the Bruce Highway Eumundi exit.

What are the office hours and simulator operating hours?

The office is open M-F 0830-1630 and Sat 0830-1230. 

The simulators are available any day of the week and flight experience bookings are able to be made at any time on line. For selected pilot courses please phone to arrange a suitable time. We are flexible with times and will fit around your time frame at short notice if needed.

Do I need to arrive earlier than my booked simulator time? 

Yes please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked simulator session start time to allow for pre-briefing. 

Who conducts the training courses and flight experience packages?

Your satisfaction is our satisfaction and to achieve this result the instructors used in training courses are all highly experienced with many years in major airlines as pilot/instructors and or having a vast and varied general aviation background. On the day the flight experience packages may be conducted by either an airline pilot/instructor or a general aviation pilot.

All instructors are friendly and enthusiastic about helping you achieve your goals and have been selected because of these important qualities. 

Can I purchase Gift Vouchers?

Yes. Gift vouchers can be purchased by telephone orders and at our office. Your booking will be confirmed by email with the voucher sent to your nominated address. The vouchers are not redeemable for any other service or value

How long are the Gift Vouchers valid?

The gift vouchers are valid for three calendar months from date of purchase and cannot be extended beyond this date. Please note validity dates may vary with gift vouchers purchased on our specials.

What if my Gift Voucher is lost or stolen?

Gift vouchers can be replaced only at the discretion of management. The voucher will be void as soon as notification is received of the voucher being lost or stolen.

Can I redeem my gift voucher?

Gift vouchers are only valid for the flight simulator session and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Do I need to present ID before entry to the simulators?

Yes photo ID is required, either passport or drivers licence ID. The name on the voucher will need to correspond with that on the ID

What dress code is required when flying the simulator?

We would suggest casual comfortable clothes. For safety reasons you will need to wear closed in shoes when entry onto the flight deck 

What if there is a technical problem with the simulator?

On the day suitable compensation will be mutually agreed in the form of a refund or rescheduling.

If our Simulators experience a technical problem prior to your booked session we will endeavour to give you as much notification as possible of a cancellation to the ticket email address used for booking and a text message to the number advised when making the booking. It is your responsibility to check on the booking calendar to ensure your simulator session hasn’t got cancelled. If cancellation is due to a technical problem prior to your simulator session a rescheduling of your session will need to be arranged.

What if I need to change my booked time?

Changes made outside 48 hours of your booked simulator session are free of charge. Changes made inside 48 hours of your booked simulator session will require a new booking and the forfeit of previous payments.

What if I need to cancel the booking?

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your booked simulator time will be cancelled without refund. 

Can my ten year old fly the simulator?

The minimum age to take the controls is 11 years of age.
